Unfortunately the current estimate is that clearing the rubble in Gaza will take one year and its rebuilding seven to ten years, if the funding is there. (https://twitter.com/NRC_MiddleEast/status/1741341343111110950 ). Palestinian people will have to temporarily live somewhere during this time and one does not want another exodus. Further, in the West-Bank alone there will be insufficient of such temporary space. My other point is that peace-building can only take place by non-violent interaction learning to know each other, (other than by fighting each other) and that any two-state solution embeds the major risk of full separation and conservation of hatred, leading to a reignition of a conflict in the long run.... (so far there is a circle of truce followed by war, there never has been real peacebuilding). This is why I propose a living together in a confederation of settlements which can be anywhere (as in the times of Canaan, which I used here as the oldest name of the territory where multiple ethnicities/religions lived together, whereas the Levant is very ambitious in this sense being a much larger area.) This all may sound completely crazy but realize that most countries in Europe have been enemies for centuries...
